VM Flex Expansion Joint, for Food Industry – Type 90/PUR 1000, custom made for one of our many trusted customers, that had the need for a pressure reinforced upgrade in their process.

We have customized a 3 layer build-up, with 1mm, Food contact approved polyurethane material that encapsulates an internal kevlar reinforcement, making the Expansion Joint resistant to pressure shocks in the system. Flanges are upgraded with 3mm nitrile Food contact approved gaskets to ensure zero leakage.

At VM Kompensator, we prioritize safety and quality in all of our products, and our food contact materials are no exception. They are produced in a clean room environment, monitored by the Danish Food Agency and they have all undergone migration test by a third-party institute, ensuring that they meet the Framework Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004. Manufactured according to Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 and complies with regulations (EU) no. 10/2011 as amended up to and including (EU) no. 2019/1338 and the Danish announcement no. 681 of 25/05/2020.
